Following events in 2013, 2016, and 2023, the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship will be held again this year in Stuttgart for the fourth time. On October 30 and 31, the Porsche-Arena will serve as the stage for the world’s best competitive loggers. Back in 2023, 6,500 fans watched live as the athletes battled for every second with axes and saws. A sold-out crowd is expected again in 2026. The highlight of the season promises excitement, action, and athletic performance at the highest level. 

Team World Championship – October 30, 2026 

The national teams will kick things off on Friday. In a relay format, they must complete four disciplines in succession. The teams will compete against each other in a knockout format. 

The Australian “Chopperoos” have dominated the team competition for years. Team Australia has been the undefeated number one since 2018. In total, the team from Down Under has already won the title ten times. They also hold the current world record in the team format. So in Stuttgart, too, the motto is once again: “Everyone against Australia.” For a long time, the other overseas nations were considered the Australians’ biggest rivals. Last year, however, the teams from Sweden and Poland came closest to winning the title, finishing in second and third place.
