After the World Trophy was held in Lombardy in northern Italy in 2024, the biggest competition of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® season is coming to Italy for the first time this year. On October 24th and 25th, the best sports lumberjacks from all over the world will meet in Milan to determine the strongest among them. The 20th edition of the TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship will take place in the Allianz Cloud Arena.
Team World Championship - October 24, 2025
The starting signal for the competition weekend is given for the Team World Championship. On October 24, the national teams from Europe, overseas and Asia will take to the stage to crown their winner in a knockout system. The last five titles were won by the “Chopperoos” from Australia, who even set two world records in 2024. The other nations will therefore repeatedly do everything they can to defeat the superiority from Down Under. The USA and Canada took second and third place last year. The North American teams are once again among the biggest rivals of the reigning world champions. Spectators can also look forward to the European teams from Poland and France. They recently placed behind the top teams from overseas and brought some promising talent with them.
