The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Champions Trophy 2017

The battle of giants in Hamburg

Champions Trophy 2017

On May 20th the world's best STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® athletes will smash four trunks into firewood in less then one minute with their razor-sharp axes and saws. The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Champions Trophy is the toughest of all woodchopping competitions demanding the utmost in stamina, concentration and technique from our top athletes.

At the Champions Trophy the 8 best athletes from the World Championship compete in a relay-style race with one goal: to be faster than the opponent. The athletes have to compete four events in one go which adds an endurance element to the competition. The oder of events is: Stock Saw, Underhand Chop, Single Buck, Standing Block Chop. It's a head to head knockout race so once you lose, you are out.
